CNC MILLING TOOLS

DATRON

DATRON milling tools are ideal for removing and machining a wide range of materials, as their large cutting edge allows them to remove more chips per revolution. Thanks to their patented, balanced tip, higher speeds can be achieved.

DATRON milling cutters excel in chip evacuation

Ball nose end mills feature a rounded edge for smooth surface contour milling. The rounded tips are ideal for angular cutting of complex shapes, such as 3D surface machining.

4 in 1 Single Flute End Mill

For applications requiring fast, high-volume, and large-area material removal, the 4-in-1 product family is ideal.

This is achieved through 4 special features:

  1. Patented balanced tool tip for maximum smoothness and extended spindle life
  2. Flat-end design for excellent surface finishing
  3. Optimized and polished chip channel for fast and efficient chip evacuation
  4. Polished cutting edge for improved surface quality

Combined with these features, cycle time and cutting quality can be easily optimized, enabling significant savings. The 4-in-1 is ideal for machining aluminum, brass, plastics, exotic composite materials, and any soft metals.

Our single-flute tools are ideal for machining non-ferrous materials, often significantly faster than conventional multi-flute tools.

The unique single-flute cutting edge design creates more space for chip evacuation, allowing higher feed rates and greater chip load.

These long-life, micro-grain carbide tools are available in various cutting diameters and lengths, shank diameters, and geometries, including for specialized applications.

Double Flute End Mills

For general-purpose machining, the two-flute end mill is the best choice. It is ideal for difficult-to-machine materials and alloys. The tool is balanced and robust, generating minimal vibration, which results in a high-quality surface finish.

These tools are perfectly suited for machining aluminum, brass, plastics, special composites, and hard metals.

Double-flute tools are ideal for machining operations where surface finish is important.

They are typically used for finishing holes and for light cutting operations.

They can also be used for small-diameter holes, as the double-flute tool is stronger than a single-flute tool.

These long-life, micro-grain carbide tools are available in various cutting diameters and lengths, shank diameters, and geometries for different application areas.

Single Flute Ball Nose End Mill

Single-flute ball end mills are ideal for machining non-ferrous materials, significantly faster than conventional multi-flute single-flute ball end mills.

Instead of having to rough-machine with a square end mill,

the unique single-flute design allows you to start machining immediately.

These tools operate at high speeds to ensure efficiency.

Ball nose end mills are designed for machining three-dimensional contours and five-axis components.

The rounded cutting edge ensures very low cutting forces and a smooth surface. These long-life, micro-grain carbide tools are available in various cutting diameters and lengths, shank diameters, coatings, and geometries tailored to specialized machining applications.

Drills

These solid carbide drills feature two flutes and are designed for down-cut machining only.

These long-life tools are available in various cutting diameters, lengths, and shank diameters.

For precision holes, using a drill is a better solution compared to helical interpolation with an end mill.

A drilled hole provides a uniform diameter throughout the full length of the material, whereas an end mill may deflect slightly and produce a tapered hole.

In addition, for large quantities of holes, using a drill is much faster. If a deep hole is required, a drill is sometimes the only option due to the longer cutting length.

*The 1/8″ and 3 mm shank drills feature high-speed steel shanks with solid carbide tips.
