KNOLL filter systems clean coolant lubricants up to the very fine range, even without filter consumables (e.g.: filter paper). The filtration systems can be operated locally for standalone machines and centrally for machine groups or complete production areas. Their purpose is to extend the service life of coolant lubricants, thereby increasing tool life and improving the surface quality of the workpieces.

This product is ideal for use as a bypass-type supplement to central coolant handling systems and single systems, thereby increasing filtration efficiency. The unit prevents the agglomeration of very fine particles such as steel, tungsten carbide, silicon, ceramics, and graphite.

Simple centrifugal separator for readily settling solids in low-viscosity fluids such as water and emulsions. No filter media is required. The filtration capacity is up to 90 l/min per module.
Thanks to the tangential flow, the liquid creates a primary vortex, which causes heavier particles to separate from the fluid under the influence of centrifugal force.
As a result, the chips are discharged through the conical outlet due to centrifugal forces, while the cleaned coolant is returned via the secondary outlet.

MicroPur® is a reverse-flow filter designed for the removal of the finest impurities from cooling lubricants (oils and aqueous solutions).
It is ideal for tool grinding applications, particularly for grinding carbide and HSS tools.
It is characterized by high filtration efficiency (1–3 microns).
The filtration capacity can be up to 480 l/min. It can be connected to standalone systems, multiple machines, or integrated into central filtration systems as well.

KNOLL chip separators are designed to remove short chips that cannot be retained by hinged belt or scraper conveyors. They can be used as pre-separators to reduce chip carryover to the coolant lubricant (CL) filter, or as independent cleaning units.
If required, the chip separator can be combined with conveyor systems for chip transport or with filtration systems for cleaning coolant lubricants and supplying machine tools.

TURBO reversible flow filter is designed for cleaning cooling lubricants in machining processes such as milling, turning and drilling. The modular system allows the filter to be used both in a decentralized manner at individual machines and in central installations as well.
The filter works according to the backflush principle and does not require any filter consumables. The scraper belt conveyor which serves as sediment basin, discharge conveyor and liquid buffer, is especially suited for handling the concentrated backflushing liquid. If necessary, the plant can be expanded with a bath care in bypass flow (e.g. belt filter or centrifuge) in order to prevent accumulation of not sedimented fine particles.
The filtration capacity can be up to 250 l/min per unit.
Large-surface, slanted-bed design unit for fine cleaning of KSS, without filter fleece. With extended vacuum technology, optionally with filter fleece.

The VL vacuum filter is a high-performance filter for cooling lubricants, and is particularly recommended for grinding processes.

Large-surface, slanted-bed unit for fine particle filtration of KSS without filter fleece. The filtration capacity can be up to 900 l/min per unit. The VLO vacuum filter is suitable for cleaning coolant lubricants in grinding processes.
A typical application area is profile grinding with oil cooling. It is characterized by easy divisibility. The filtration system can be used for a single machine or centrally to serve multiple machines.
The result is always clean oil and a clean, dry concentrate.
All of this is achieved without the use of filtration media.
