Automation

The KNOLL automation division focuses on solving demanding assembly and logistics tasks. This includes stationary conveyor systems with chain and roller conveyors. These are complemented by industrial robots and automated guided vehicles (AGVs). The objective is the efficient, line-based assembly of components between assembly stations and finished products. The systems transport various types of equipment across a wide range of industries, such as mechanical engineering, plant construction, electrical engineering, vehicle manufacturing, and the automotive industry. In addition, trolley-based transport enables innovative logistics solutions in combination with AGVs.

Assembly line

With our solutions, customers can produce economically, with high process stability, flexibility, and safety. The systems are installed based on preliminary design and tailored to individual requirements.

Automated guided vehicle (AGV)

Progressive automation offers continuously evolving solutions for logistics and production industries. KNOLL’s partner SAFELOG provides answers to all transport challenges in a flexible, digital environment with intelligent mobile transport robots. Autonomously guided vehicles (AGVs) ensure forklift-free and automated supply of assembly lines and packaging stations. Depending on the task and operating process, five different models are available. All units are suitable for towing carts and trailers and/or transporting pallets and liftable goods. For customer-specific processes, AGV superstructures and peripheral systems are available as optional equipment.
