Return pumping station RIK

Areas of application
 

The return pumping station RIK is a compact chip conveyor station that may be integrated into a machine bed. It is used for the unmanned transport of medium amounts of chips and cooling lubricant from the processing machine to a separator/filter. This construction unites the characteristics of conventional solutions from chip conveyors and separate pumping stations into a combined unit. Chips that result from the processing of materials such as cast or aluminium are particularly suitable. Steel chips are suitable only if they are of uniform length and in small quantities.

Function

The chips and the cooling lubricant arrive from the machine tool into the screw trough. One or more screw conveyors transport the chips horizontally directly into the chip reducer. After the chips are reduced, they as well as the cooling lubricant arrive in the pump back tank. The chip/cooling lubricant mixture is then fed uniformly into the return pump, which transports it by return pipe to the central or decentralised separating/filtering unit. The controlled interaction between pump and metering unit ensures safe chip transport, independent of the chip shape and the resulting amount of chips or cooling lubricant. For small chips without a tendency to form clusters, no chip reducer is necessary.

Return pumping station RKR

Areas of application
 

The return pumping station RKR is a chip conveyor for attachment on individual machines and transfer lines. It is used for the unmanned transport of medium to large amounts of chips and cooling lubricant from the processing machine to a separator/filter. Cooling lubricants and chips that result from cutting machining of materials such as steel, cast or aluminium are particularly suitable.

Function

Return pumping station RSR

Areas of application
 

The return pumping station RSR is a compact conveyor station suitable for attachment on machine tools which produce small amounts of chips, in particular grinding machines. It can also be installed as collecting station for small amounts of cooling lubricant from centrifuges, conveyors and drip pans.

  • Fully automatic, unmanned cooling lubricant and chip transport
  • Simple, solid design
  • Chip reducer cannot be retrofitted
  • The cooling lubricant intake can be adapted to the machine (gravity inflow or pumping)

Function

The cooling lubricant contaminated with sludge or chips flows through an outlet on the machine tool and into the pump back tank. An auxiliary lifting pump assists this process where required. The recirculation pump transports the chip/cooling lubricant mixture through the return pipe to the filtration system. The tangential intake has a helical channel which prevents the deposition of grinding sludge.

Traction flap conveyor ZK

Areas of application
 

Transport of long and short broken metal chips. Suitable for large conveying routes, long and short steel chips, needle chips (e.g. brass), dry processing and wet processing. Installation possible as individual conveyor or interlinked system.

Function

Feeding of the material to be conveyed into the collection trough. Conveying of the bulk material on the container bottom to the discharge opening by means of a flap, simultaneously draining of the cooling lubricant. Discharging of the material to be conveyed into the collection container or into another conveyor for removal.

Extraction stations

KNOLL extraction stations convey metal chips fully automatically from machine tools or collection points to the central extraction system. Room air serves as the carrier medium and transports the dry or slightly moist chips over distances of up to 500 m. Depending on requirements, extraction stations are machine integrated or located below the chip conveyor.

Extraction station SBS

With hopper and screw conveyor. For high capacity of short chips and installation under discharge conveyors.

Extraction station SBS/ZV
